The JV football team traveled to Rayland on Monday and came home with a convincing 26-6 victory over the homestanding Panthers.
QB Jaren Cash and WR Marshall Fish got the fireworks going early with a 65-yd bomb on the very first offensive play from scrimmage. Quentin Baker added to the scoring with a 15-yd scamper to paydirt. The scoring onslaught continued as Cash connected on his second touchdown pass of the game, this time connecting with tight-end Nick Materkoski on an 18-yd connection. Brandon Mamie finished the scoring with a one-yd touchdown run. Mamie led the ground attack with 112 yards. The defense was led by Konner Lay with an interception and Danny Zwack with a fumble recovery.
The JV team will be back in action on Monday when they host Beaver Local at 5:00pm.
