Big Reds drop opener in Morristown

Farrier Named Varsity Girl’s Coach

Coach John Farrier will be guiding the Lady Reds next season.  The Bellaire Board of Education approved the hiring this morning at a special meeting.  Coach Farrier will replace Coach Marci Quirk as the head coach of the varsity squad.  Coach Farrier is a graduate of Bellaire High School, where he played football and basketball.

Austin McConville will wrestle at Coshocton High School this weekend for a chance to advance to the state wrestling tournament.  Wrestling starts Friday at 4pm.  Austin placed first at sectionals at 160lbs. Tickets on Sale For Boy’s Basketball Game

Tickets for the boy’s basketball game at Indian Valley on March 6, 2015 at 7 PM will be on sale in the athletic office until Friday at 2 PM.  Cost of ticket is $5 in advance all tickets at the gate will be $7.  Children 5 and under will be admitted for free, and gates

McConville and Westlake Receive Honor

Hunter Westlake, Steve Andres (Head Varsity Football Coach), and Austin McConville attended the Ohio Valley Coaches’ Association annual football awards banquet at Steubenville High School on Sunday afternoon.  McConville and Westlake were honored as first team OVAC selections.  Congratulations to two fine young men.  Go Big Reds!

Senior Night

Boys’ basketball and wrestling teams celebrate senior night.  Wrestling had one senior – Austin McConnville.  Basketball honored three stat girls – Daphne Clark, Danielle Stoner, and Katie Zeller.  The Big Reds have three senior players – Ty Ramsay, Nathan Steele, and Hunter Westlake.  And finally, Bralen Snell, who has served as the announcer this year
